I reckon second one can also be achieved using combo chart and using white colour fill for the second measure.

A column chart that turns into a line chart? Sorcery! Edit: I cannot reproduce it, unfortunately. The measures work fine in a table or in a visual without the dates. When dates are added, only the Column one is visible no matter how many months are selected :(

This is awesome. I could not find a visual that works in the marketplace and thought I was going to have to custom built one in python and I am not sure it would be even better then this!!! well doe and deff watching your videos from now on!!!!!! Plus your communication style is great. 😀
